Hello Miguel,
The Reputation Ranking of each Courier will be calculated by SMARTlink. This was decided in one of the technical meetings with Paul and Ana. Although it is calculated by SMARTlink, SMARTlink will request input to facilitate this calculation from: (i)Common Denominator for the components of Reputation Ranking that will come from the Shipper, who may use prompt pick up of package, etc. as an indicator, and the Buyer, who may use the relative state (comparison between pick up and drop off) of the package upon delivery as an indicator. (ii)Trakken for its component of Reputation Ranking, which could be based on the time to deliver package (iii)MoMa for its component of Reputation Ranking As a team, we have not decided on the best method for using all these components in calculating a composite value for the Reputation Ranking of the Courier. Many thanks for the question Miguel. Regards, Kevon Andrews - SMARTlink

Hi Smartlink team members!! We haven't talked about how are we going to define the rating of users. However, front my point of view the best way to achieve that is that you calculate it and just save it within Common Denominator's database. In that way you can retrieve it or update it anytime.

Hi smartlink team,
We really appreciate if you could post your assumptions and interfaces (inputs and outputs) with other project teams (refer to Instructor's blog post on 03/10). The goal is to provide a quick reference to other teams and to your team's developers, in order to support the software development. You probably have this information on your presentation slides. It's just a matter of making it more accessible in the community. You can use as reference MoMa's inputs/outputs/assumptions post on their group's wall. Please keep it at a similar "big picture" detail level. Please feel free to reach us with any questions or concerns. Thank you very much. Ana (on behalf of NextLab tech staff) |
