NextLabbers,

We’ve observed how some Sustainability Officers have taken an extra step forward in their function within the team, and have not only developed a cohesive “business” model for their technology, but have gone out there and found sources for future financing in the real-world (as opposed to only at NextWorld).  Examples we’ve seen range from funds from the Public Service Center, to grants from reputable institutions outside MIT. 

Needless to say, we’re excited to see you taking advantage of the constant stream of emails we send out with opportunities at MIT and beyond.  We’d also encourage you to enter the MIT $100K business plan competition, as there are specific tracks in which your projects would do well.  In any case, good work, and it’s your contribution that we’ll make that real-world component part of our requirements for future NextLabs.
