NextLabbers,
I hope you enjoyed class today. We had a great lecture on the MIT Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
These are the items I mentioned in the beginning of class today. Please follow up on them.
1.- Each team please send Paul and I your team logos. We need them for some materials we’re creating.
2.- The videos needed for your entries into the Dell Social Innovation competition should be shot by the teams themselves; unfortunatelly, NextLab media staff does not have the time to do that for you. They can help you in the following 2 ways: a) they can help you edit it once it is shot, and b) they can lend you our high quality HD video cameras. Make sure you contact Nicole Prowell (NextLab media coordinator) for both of these matters.
3.- Please make sure to wear your NextLab t-shirts on days you’ll be presenting, as you’ll be on video, and we will post it online. The t-shirts help viewers know where these videos are from, and how they tie in together as part of a larger project to bring mobile solutions to the developing world.
4.- There are deadlines approaching for other competitions that all sustainability officers should be aware of. Also, there are new postings in the Opportunities page. Please don’t miss them.
5.- On Thursday we will briefly discuss improvements to the Milestone Feedback mechanism. I already have already received a number of good ideas from students in the class, but I ask all of you to send me your suggestions. Please do so before end of day Wednesday, so that I can compile them and summarize them for class this Thursday. I will appreciate any comments that will help us improve this process.
See you Thursday!
